How AI is used, told straight.
AI is part of every Prepara book, and we would rather be plain about it than impressive. Here is what the tutor does, what people wrote versus what the machine generates, and what the AI can see.
What the tutor does
The tutor answers questions about the chapter you are reading, coaches you through graded work without handing you the answer, and tells you when it is not sure. It works from the book, not from the open internet.
Authored, not generated
The chapters, the figures, the worked examples, and the checkpoint questions are written and reviewed by people. AI helps you work through that material; it does not write the book you are graded on.
It teaches judgment on purpose
Part of the point is learning when an AI answer is wrong. So the books show AI making a confident mistake, and the tutor admits uncertainty, because a student who can catch a bad answer has learned the real lesson.
What the AI sees
To help you, the tutor sees the passage you are on and how you have been doing. It does not see other students, and your profile never includes a demographic detail. You can read and delete what it has learned at any time.
