We design the platform and the books to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is ongoing work, and some content does not fully meet the standard yet.
The same checks the books carry.
Text contrast, against the AA standard of 4.5 to 1. Coral is routed to a darker terracotta wherever it carries text.
That every control is a real link or button, with a visible focus ring and a target of at least 24 by 24 pixels.
That decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology, and that motion follows the reduced-motion setting.
That the layout reflows down to a 320 pixel viewport, and that a school can export its data at any time.
In any book.
A high-contrast mode raises every foreground against its background beyond the AA floor.
Text can be scaled up, and a dyslexia-friendly typeface can be turned on for the reading.
Turn reduced motion on, in the panel or in your system settings, and animations stop. Every state still has a still form you can read.
The reading, the lesson player and this site are built to be operated by keyboard alone, with the focus always visible. The instructor tools have not been through the same check yet.
